IRD is Off or Test while approval is pending
A CBMS test is not a live tax filing, software approval or taxpayer registration.
Retriever's IRD software approval is pending. IRD stays Off or in development Test mode; Live submission is disabled. Test uses IRD's published test identity. Buyer identity and return free text are removed, while bill/reference numbers, dates and totals go to the test service. A successful response is not a live filing.
Why IRD Reports is missing from the rail
While software approval is pending, IRD Reports is hidden from owner and staff navigation, pinned shortcuts and search. The IRD setup section is also hidden in Settings in this release. Development testing does not enable live submissions or grant staff access. Turning testing off does not alter ordinary receipt settings, and test setup is not a signup requirement.
Your PAN, registration, permit and tax obligations remain yours to confirm with IRD or your adviser. Recording a permit does not approve Retriever or enable Live. Protected numbered records stay in the books; use corrections and returns where appropriate. Ordinary receipt settings continue to work.
